LOLER Annual Examinations
LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations). Examinations are used to make sure that all lifting equipment is used in a safe manor.
Lifting equipment is any work equipment used for lifting and lowering loads, and includes any accessories used in doing do (such as attachments to support, fix, or anchor the equipment).
LOLER Thorough Examination
This is a detailed examination of the equipment and safety critical parts. Carried out at specific intervals by a competent person who then completes a written examination report which includes.

- The next examination date.
- Defect list.
